Tell us about your upcoming album “Broken Alive”. What inspired this work?

This past year was the hardest time in my life. I went through some really rough experiences that unfortunately broke me to the core. I didn’t think that there was hope for a better future. However, through this journey with the help of my friends and family I soon realized that time heals everything. I was inspired to create this Album “Broken Alive” as I wanted to share my experience with others who may be going through or have gone through some tough times. Truly, I have learned that in life you have to go through hard times that take you to your breaking point in order to grow and ultimately become alive.

What was the writing and recording process like?

Honestly, the writing process on this project was the most exhilarating I’ve experienced in my music career thus far. It seemed as though songs were coming at me quicker than I could even imagine. I had so many emotions and thoughts running through my mind while writing “Broken Alive”. I wrote the majority of this Album in a 2-3 month period. Not only did I create the melody and lyrics, but I also produced and composed all of the instrumentation as well.

What did you learn the most during the making of this album?

What I learned through this experience is that I am a much stronger person than I ever imagined I would be with everything I went through. I’m not gonna lie, it wasn’t an easy road to recover; I was broken.

When did you get into singing and songwriting? Who are some of your influences?

I come from a musically talented family of musicians, songwriters and lyricists; so music has always been a strong part of my life and soul. Some of my influences would have to be my Dad who I looked up to at a very young age and a few acts including, ColdPlay, OneRepublic & Maroon 5.

What is your ultimate goal through you’d like to achieve through your music?

I would like to make a difference in peoples’ lives through my music. It would be awesome to have a career in music and touch thousands of lives through my songwriting.

What was the first single off of your Album that you released and what is it about? When is your next single coming out?

The first single off my Album that I released was “Death of Me”. This song is very emotional and deep as it explains a time where I lost hope in life due to failed relationships. It’s about coming to realization that you lost the one you loved and not wanting to accept it.

What is next for you in 2017 after the album releases?

I plan on eventually doing a small tour with some of my other musician friends and hopefully getting noticed and brought further into the music industry. My ultimate goal is to end up as a Mainstream Pop Artist.
